Re: Talk about your favorite YouTube channels here.

These are all superb picks so far!

My favorite is Accursed Farms, the channel of Ross Scott. Nowadays he's probably most well-known for spearheading the Stop Killing Games movement which has recently been making incredible moves in California and in the EU, as well as for creating the Freeman's ...

Re: Star Fox (2026)

I've seen a lot of hate directed toward the new visual design but I like it, quite a lot! I've also never played any of the Star Fox games yet, so it's not my prerogative to get upset about the first game getting remade or the series being rebooted. I am tentatively interested.

My problem is just ...

Re: What are you playing?

Archmage

I'm familiar with Cryptmaster! I've not played it myself but I watched my spouse play it. It's certainly something special.
The number of spoken lines in the game is kind of nuts. At one point my spouse and I were just listing off as many animals as we could think of, and the ...

Re: What are you playing?

Lately I've been really interested in typing games, and I started playing this one called Blood Typers! Bite-sized survival horror maps, fun weapons, fun typing mechanics, I enjoy it a lot so far.

Re: Rubber Domes aren't (all) bad: a rubber dome discussion thread

I don't have a lot of hands-on experience with keyboards; I've felt cherry reds, cherry blues, and a variety of very unimpressive cheap membrane keyboards, but most recently I received a Topre Realforce R3S (45g, silent). Topre switches are handily my favorite switches! They feel "natural" somehow ...

Re: What games are you excited for?

I wishlist a ton of games on Steam, so it's hard not to flood the thread with dozens of links, but I put in the effort to trim it down to... six, for now.

.45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is an action-RPG that reminds me a lot of games like Signalis, Parasite Eve II, and Final Fantasy VII. I don't know a ...

Re: The problem of games, unlimited games, but no games

My spouse and I watch eachother play games, and picking games for eachother to play helps us with the decision paralysis.

I'm also autistic and I really enjoy categorizing things, so I work on a list of games that are special to me on backloggd.com and I'm always trying out new stuff to discover ...

Re: "Open source" is the thin veneer covering the machinery of corporate ownership

A big concern of mine is that open-source software is leveraged by corporations who do nothing to contribute to it despite profiting off of it.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "to be governed by machines instead of people?"
