Huh...never heard of it, but definitely going to check it out. We've been on the lookout for comedy anime lately.

Re: What's the best Windows?
I didn't expect to see so much Vista appreciation  Usually that's peoples go to for being the worst version of Windows (the real answer to that question is Millennium Edition

Re: Post 16-bit hidden gems
I was doing the click adventure then realized I needed to learn how to animate and side-scrolling was easier... So I made some characters... the idea was that you can play through a small number of levels... and the first half you are one character, then the second half you play the same thing ...

Re: Post 16-bit hidden gems
I obsess over Blackthorne. I used to prefer the SNES, but in the last few years I've actually started preferring the DOS music better. I think hearing it with a real soundblaster rather than emulation helped... the bass buzz just sounds a lot better.
YES! While at the time, the controls with ...

Re: Post 16-bit hidden gems
My hidden gem which may be debatable on the hidden thing I think would be Blackthorne. Old Blizzard. Methodical platform shooter with some puzzle elements. Marching through hallways putting down orcs and demons with a shotgun. Mmmf

Re: Post 16-bit hidden gems
A game for me that fits into the hidden gems is Zero Tolerance, a FPS for the sega genesis:
Haha hell yea I see you. I thought I was like the only person ever that played that game. It's a rough intro, but once you get the controls down...badass. I also had no idea you could network the Genesis ...

Been on another WizardThrone kick lately. This video is...sure something, but the album as a whole is a really fun story. They also have Rainbowdragoneyes on drums, which is big mood.
Another run through Bal Sagoth is surely around the corner...

Re: What are you playing?
Quake Brutalist Jam 3 - I'd been on a Quake hiatus for a couple of years, but this might be the biggest deal since Arcane Dimensions in terms of effort/scope. Fully replaces weapons and enemies (though some sounds are not replaced). 77 maps, separated into main section + "new faces" (first-time ...

Re: What are you playing?
Learning that I have to schedule my hangout time. So, I've been playing No Man's Sky for the first time with my best friend once a week. It's been a great time so far. I do wish we had more time to get into it regularly, but hey I'll take what I can get. The can feel the talons of the Skinner Box ...
