Re: Let's share music!
As someone who has dealt with depression, this song hits the nail on the head. It's a reminder that those of us who suffer, often do so in silence.

Been on a bit of a metal kick lately, nothing too fancy just some Nightwish, Wind Rose, and Alestorm

I wish I could find a goth/industrial place near me, guess that's what I get for being rural. Instead I blast it on the speakers and dance at home with the RGB instead.ward wrote: Apr 10th, '26, 22:50Hell yeah. I don't know much about that music, but I'm into it. Most don't know this... but I go to goth/industrial night as often as I can... goof off dancing to stuff like this in the glow of the lights and the haze of the fog machine. I don't listen to it when I'm at home, but it's fun there.Deadhand wrote: Apr 10th, '26, 21:27 Is Electro-industrial / EBM ok to throw into the music thread? I saw a pretty good variety of stuff. A genre i've recently been getting into
Anyway, post anything... there's no rules; whatever you're into is cool.
Tonight I'm switching between metal and medieval dungeon synth. Fief and DIM are my favorites in this style...
@Archmage that Bach you posted the other day got me going through my Bach and Brahms... then I ended up on this for a while.
Glad you enjoyed the Bach and Brahms, been listening to organ music in the evenings to help relax/unwind after work.

Got an advanced copy of Duir Catarsi and I've really been enjoying it. Giving me mild Windir vibes... maybe a bit more of a folk thing, but still good black metal:

I've been on a Coheed and Cambria kick lately and has been the song getting stuck in my head the most
Re: Let's share music!
I dig this. I had a friend who was big into Cohen in college. I should do a deep dive one of these days.the_skotts wrote: May 5th, '26, 08:46 I've been on a Coheed and Cambria kick lately and has been the song getting stuck in my head the most
this has been in heavy rotation for me lately. I've never heard prog metal this happy and uplifting aside from some of Devin Townsend's work...and I actually think this project does it better than a lot of Devin's work.
Re: Let's share music!
Ok the organ music is pretty cool, I'm ashamed to admit I never really looked farther beyond toccata and fugue, I just might have to put on a playlist of some now.Archmage wrote: Apr 29th, '26, 15:47I wish I could find a goth/industrial place near me, guess that's what I get for being rural. I'm currently rocking out to remixes/remasters of game sound tracks and thought this would be a fun song to share:
