I spent my day playing the newly released Paralives. This game absolutely needs more time in the oven but I really like what's there so far. I like that it's not just trying to be a Sims clone. It's trying to introduce stuff that I've never really seen in a life sim, such as conversations being more contextual and certain social interactions basically being done via dice rolls with various contextual buffs and debuffs. The game has a lot going for it and I cannot wait to see how things go from here on. There's a lot missing but the foundation, imo, is rock solid.

Anybody ever played Wrath? The game was 'dead' for years then actually came out... and I loved it.

I have been having a blast exploring the new environments and I'm excited to try out the multiplayer at some point.
I missed the drama stuff... guess I'll have to look that up. I was mildly into the first game. I love exploration, dislike base building... but sometimes I get into the flow and just have fun with it. I think having multiplayer will make this one better for me, so I'll probably try it out.
Yeah, just got Wrath. Gotta finish Vladik Brutal before I start it though.

I've been playing through a bunch of demos on Steam trying to find something that sticks while I wait for Subnautica 2 to bake a little more.

Quick run down/review
Metropolis 1998 - Not so sure how I feel about this one. There's a ton of customization you can do but it's a little overwhelming and not as intuitive as I would like. Not released yet so it's got time to bake. Definitely keeping an eye on it.

Replaced - The art direction is fantastic, combat is smooth and fluid. Gonna put this on the wish list.

The Caribou Trail - A game that takes place during WWI, it's not for the faint of heart as it explorers the horrors of war. It's special imo because it makes you think and it's not all guns a blazing.

Is This Seat Taken? - A fun little organization game where you place folks at various locations next to other folks while taking into consideration of their wants and needs while making sure it doesn't conflict with other people around them.

The Subnautica drama completely missed me, I had no idea there was things going on with that. The multiplayer is loads of fun and there's so much to do together; it's my finacee and I's current obsession at the moment! It definitely has the early access feel and I'm constantly fighting with the basebuilding, but otherwise I really enjoy it. The storytelling is phenomenal and there's a lot of quietly terrifying moments throughout the game.

I actually haven't heard of Wrath, just checked it out and it looked pretty fun! The theme is what I tend to gravitate towards. Good timing cause I nabbed it for only 5 bucks lol

My friends and I finished up the Mt. Yurbuttsk in RV There Yet? and next we are starting up a co-op Stardew perfection run while trying to get all the achievements for everyone. It's probably going to take a while and should be a lot of fun. We're trying to keep it to minimal mods but we'll see how long that lasts since we're all used to using things like Automate lol

It's refreshing to not be the apex predator in a game. There's that constant feeling of the unknown and just when you're figuring things out another place to explore pops up. Easily one of my favorite set of games has been the Subnautica series. I'm eagerly awaiting for the full release now.
