What are you playing?

The technological jump from 1990 to 1992 was bigger than the jump from 2010 to the present day... So, it's all modern.

Fiancee and I picked up Far Far West after I saw it on Steam's front page. Really fun 1-4 player co-op shooter in a similar vein as Deep Rock Galactic or Helldivers (though I haven't played Helldivers before). We haven't had a fun multiplayer game to play together in a while. We've only had time to play one mission so far but we're really enjoying it! It's oozing with style and the gameplay is snappy, responsive, and the missions are pretty straightforward. It's in early access at the moment and it's only going to get better. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a new co-op shooter to play.

Lately I've been really interested in typing games, and I started playing this one called Blood Typers! Bite-sized survival horror maps, fun weapons, fun typing mechanics, I enjoy it a lot so far.

Check out Cryptmaster, easily one of my favorite games.

@Archmage

I'm familiar with Cryptmaster! I've not played it myself but I watched my spouse play it. It's certainly something special.
SpoilerThe number of spoken lines in the game is kind of nuts. At one point my spouse and I were just listing off as many animals as we could think of, and the Cryptmaster had a line for almost every one of them.

I got burnt out on BG3 so it's been shelved for now.

Over the weekend I started play Escape from Ever After and it's been great! It plays exactly like a Paper Mario game which is what I was hoping for. I would say that it feels more like TTYD than PM64. I've completed the first chapter and it's very goofy and funny story so far.

We started playing Subnautica 2 and it's been a blast! Janky base building, cool fish to look at, spooky plot. We've sunk at least 10 hours into the game already, which is a lot for us.

Finished replaying Fable Anniversary. It is every bit as fun as I remember it ever being. Fable was one of my favorite RPGs growing up, and I still think it has such an amazing atmosphere and soundscape. Playing Vladik Brutal right now, while trying to get my hands on No One Lives Forever. Another one of my childhood favorites...

Normally I don't allow myself to buy an Early Access game (been burned too many times) but I pulled the trigger on Subnautica 2 after the drama got resolved by court order. I have been having a blast exploring the new environments and I'm excited to try out the multiplayer at some point.

Anybody ever played Wrath? The game was 'dead' for years then actually came out... and I loved it.

I missed the drama stuff... guess I'll have to look that up. I was mildly into the first game. I love exploration, dislike base building... but sometimes I get into the flow and just have fun with it. I think having multiplayer will make this one better for me, so I'll probably try it out.
