Favorite mixes?

Post by bumbervevo »

For a while, I've been a big music mix person. Playlists can have individual songs pulled or go missing, sometimes I want more music than a single album would give me, or I want some good picks from a handful of different genres, or even completely different genres.

I've especially been digging for good mixes these days; I don't really have specific albums that I want to listen to and just want something to bounce to or help me focus. Though I'm primarily sharing electronic mixes, I'd love to hear any mixes you guys have for any genre; I'm looking for some new experiences!

This has been one of my favorite mixes for a long long time. It's eclectic and weird and super bouncy.

I've been bumping this in the car when I need some mindlessly-fast thumps to get me through traffic. I don't enjoy much hard techno but it scratches that high-octane itch I want from music.

Waaay on the opposite end of the spectrum, I had a massive lo-fi beat tape kick 5 or 6 years ago. If I wasn't having a great day at work, I'd bump this on my 15-minute break and it made the day just a little easier to get through.

I have a Japanese city pop mix to share, but I gotta find it first. I'll report back with that later.

If you like mixes, you can check out my internet radio. It's crammed to the gills with Japanese EDM, all personally picked and curated by me over the years.

It's still a work in progress, need to make a few tweaks.
