What are you playing?

The technological jump from 1990 to 1992 was bigger than the jump from 2010 to the present day... So, it's all modern.

It feels like every time I finish something I end up taking a break and acquiring more things to add to the backlog.. Last week I finished Resident Evil Requiem. Currently I'm playing through Yakuza 4, started playing the series in January with 0. Also started taking my 3DS around again so I've been sloooooowly chipping away at Fire Emblem Echos. As for what's currently on the backlog in general, here's what I got.

Other than that I'm replaying Resident Evil 5 with a friend who's never played. Still pretty fun to "accidentally" forget to press a QTE every now and again. :lol:
If I don't feel like digging into something story heavy I've been playing Slay the Spire 2 as well. It's eaten about 60 hours since launch.

Stardew Valley got its damn claws back into me.I've been playing it any chance I get. It's probably my favorite game of all time, especially after installing lots of mods.

@the_skotts hell yeah, enjoy act 2! It's a little less sandbox-y than act 1 but the plot really picks up steam.

@rot yeah the backlog is never ending and will never actually get caught up lol

@Casey what mods to you use with Stardew? I have a handful of essentials but have never ran a ton of mods. My go tos are Automate, UI Info Suite, Lookup Anything, Harvest with Scythe and of course the Tractor Mod.

Soooo much. Too many to put in one post. The big big ones are Stardew Valley Expanded, Diverse Stardew Valley, and the Gender Neutrality Mod

Much earlier in this thread I mentioned that I was playing Nioh 3. I finished it back in February but I've just been stewing on it for a while.
Nioh 3 is... fine, it's pretty fun, but it gets everything that made Nioh 2 good completely wrong.
Just play Nioh 2 instead. It runs better, it's cheaper, it's designed better, it's more fun, there was already a ton more content than in Nioh 3 before 2's DLC even came out and the DLC comes bundled with the game now anyway, and the story's better too.

@skullmeat
This game looks rad, I wishlisted it!

So I finally shook off the wow addiction and picked up my Witcher 3 save from around a year ago, enjoying my time in Skellige. I'm 170hrs in at this point and still feels like there is so much to do, ?'s all over the map etc. also have the DLC's to look forward to.

I think once I'm done with TW3 I'll finally start Armored Core VI that's been sat in my backlog for ages.

Honestly, guns would solve most of my gripes with castlevania, lol. I never loved the combat, but I love the mood/graphics, etc. This looks ridiculous (in a good way).

I'm really looking forward to Witcher 4. I like Geralt, but he can be too stoic for me at times so I don't fully connect. I much prefer the Ciri portions... I put about 30 hours into Witcher 3 and keep feeling like I'm missing out on something, but I also don't want to RP as Geralt, lol.

I get that and also prefer playing as Ciri, she's a really interesting character.
