When I saw the Nier: Automata trailer, I thought, "I want to play this game", so I went to the store and bought a PS4 Pro and the game back in 2017. And for today, this is the best game on PS4 for me. I saw all 28 endings, got all trophies, and... never played since 2017. Now I need to play again someday.

I actually haven't finished nier yet..... I was really enjoying it... I just kept exploring and taking screenshots, lol. I should finish it eventually. It is extremely good... I find that many modern games lack mood... or whatever... Nier has a vibe. For instance. I played a bunch of Avowed... and it has some awesome level design and graphics, but almost no mood... I think a lot of it was spoiled by the perfect voice acting and such, meaning that everything feels too perfect and "broadcast school + modern humor"... but yeah, I prefer a strong mood and sense of place. I'll get back to it.

Anyway, my CachyOS desktop today while writing a bit:

@Casaey The pastels pair really nicely with the retro look of the taskbar. What a cool setup! I'd love to have a CRT in my setup again...

This is a screenshot from a mid-2012 Macbook Air that my fiancee had since she was a kid. I replaced the battery and threw Kubuntu on it; I figured it would be better to run some lightweight distro rather than the latest version of MacOS. It works great as a websurfing laptop, and especially for browsing the forums!

I took inspiration from @ravanal's use of Reactionary Plus on KDE Plasma to remake my CachyOS in a different image. Here is the results; the start button logo was something I've created for a streaming platform brand, which I've not launched (yet...)
