@the_skotts I've been meaning to check this band out, and after listening to this I'm gonna need to dive in. Thanks for sharing.

time for some punk music, and when I think of punk, I think of Propagandhi.

Controlled Bleeding is my favorite band. Their discography is super eclectic, ranging from harsh noise to electro-industrial synthpop to neoclassical darkwave stuff, but I will warn that if you're planning on checking out any of their other music, some of their album covers can have extreme imagery.
The band's broken up now and their frontman is an English teacher. Sometimes if you look at the comments on their YouTube videos you'll see people being like "Woah, I didn't know Mr. Lemos was cool." I think that's cute to see.

Today's song is True Blue by Yellow Fang. They're a band from Thailand that I found out about from a post someone made on the fedi. I don't speak Thai so I really don't know what they're saying, but man does it sound good!

One of my favorite, it not my favorite bands, hands down. I jump at the chance to share them any chance I get because they are criminally underrated and not well known.

anybody get down to the Doom II soundtrack on a Roland SC55?

And @skullmeat since you like female-fronted symphonic... ever listen to Angtoria? I generally need this style to be a little darker/gothier... and these lyrics are too appropriate in 2026... fucked up, but that makes for the best songs.

Unfortunately, thats not doing it for me. Sounds alot like nightwish and if im honest, ive never been a huge fan of. RVR is sort of a Industrial/Symphonic hybrid and ive not heard anything like it before or since. On the subject of symphonic, how about cybermetal/sci-fi symphonic?
