@the_skotts
Outlaw Star sounds so 90s lol. I never watched it... but now I'm curious.
Also, ALL the Dorohedoro tracks are awesome... the same girl (same band actually) also sings in the metal songs:

I'm secretly going to force everyone to watch it... it's the best MAPPA anime imo (far more interesting than Chainsaw Man imo).

@Casey How did I miss INANNA?! This is really good. Kinda reminds me or Martriden... or there's this awesome Australian band that has some similar feels... and it's gonna bother me until I remember, lol.
EDIT... it's Bound by Entrails... but I was a bit off. They aren't that similar, just in tempo and dynamics... as in, they have a lot of shifts between heavy and subtle sections, etc.

I did a lot of driving today so I ended up listening to a lot of music. Good Charlotte, Gunship, Dance with the Dead, Billy Joel, Arctic Monkeys, Foster the People and Saint Motel to name a few.

I just get something out of Saint Motel that I don't with other groups. Solid vibe.

Just browsing Bandcamp and came across a fun band name and neat cover art which intrigued me to listen. I know we ain't suppose to judge a book by the cover but the name man.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

And it's actually pretty good!

(Also I'm totally gonna rock a Lizard Wizard named Gizzard (who may or may not be a king/queen) for my next D&D character.)

@Archmage Oh man, you just found a goldmine! King Gizzard made a pretty big stand by taking all of their music off of Spotify in response to the platform allowing "artists" with entire discographies of GenAI music to exist in the same space as real bands and artists. I have a lot of respect for KGLW because of that.
I haven't listened to much of their stuff but I really like Butterfly 3000.

@ward Outlaw Star is a show I really enjoy so I'd definitely recommend it. Sometimes it gets grouped in with Cowboy Bebop since they're both 90s space western themed shows but there isn't much in common.

Beach Bunny is a band I found last year right around the time their latest album was released. I think it was from list YouTube video (maybe todd in the shadows but I can't remember). This is the first song of theirs I'd ever heard so I figured it's be a good one to share.

@Archmage king gizzard has an extensive discography with a super eclectic sound. Some of their albums underwhelm me but others have blown my mind. Have fun! You're in for quite a ride.

Today I'm in the mood for some game music... My favorite game composer is probably Tim Follin
