As someone who has dealt with depression, this song hits the nail on the head. It's a reminder that those of us who suffer, often do so in silence.

Been on a bit of a metal kick lately, nothing too fancy just some Nightwish, Wind Rose, and Alestorm

Hell yeah. I don't know much about that music, but I'm into it. Most don't know this... but I go to goth/industrial night as often as I can... goof off dancing to stuff like this in the glow of the lights and the haze of the fog machine. I don't listen to it when I'm at home, but it's fun there.

Anyway, post anything... there's no rules; whatever you're into is cool.

Tonight I'm switching between metal and medieval dungeon synth. Fief and DIM are my favorites in this style...

@Archmage that Bach you posted the other day got me going through my Bach and Brahms... then I ended up on this for a while.
I wish I could find a goth/industrial place near me, guess that's what I get for being rural. Instead I blast it on the speakers and dance at home with the RGB instead.

Glad you enjoyed the Bach and Brahms, been listening to organ music in the evenings to help relax/unwind after work.

Got an advanced copy of Duir Catarsi and I've really been enjoying it. Giving me mild Windir vibes... maybe a bit more of a folk thing, but still good black metal:

I dig this. I had a friend who was big into Cohen in college. I should do a deep dive one of these days.

this has been in heavy rotation for me lately. I've never heard prog metal this happy and uplifting aside from some of Devin Townsend's work...and I actually think this project does it better than a lot of Devin's work.

Ok the organ music is pretty cool, I'm ashamed to admit I never really looked farther beyond toccata and fugue, I just might have to put on a playlist of some now.

I'm currently rocking out to remixes/remasters of game sound tracks and thought this would be a fun song to share:

Ive been listening to the new Waveshaper album during my hour commutes. Nice and chill tunes for the chaotic drive.
