Ever have a song that you haven't heard in maybe a decade pop into your head? I used to love this cheesy goth metal... and I've been walking around Taipei humming it all day... now I finally get to listen to it:

Have this absolute banger. Seen the lads live often enough and I have a nice collection of records and CD's some signed too!

For some reason this popped into my head the other day and has been stuck there since lol. This song goes way harder than it needed to for a Scooby-Doo movie

I'm currently doing this "album a day" thing with my daughter for 1001 days, today's was the pixies, as such I now have this going round and round in my head:

Today I'm feeling nostalgic. Placebo was my favorite band as a young teen. As a depressed queer kid, their lyrics, presentation, and general vibe resonated a ton with me. They're not my favorite band anymore, but I still have a love for the band, especially their first couple records....I should post more about this in the formative music moments thread.

This showed up on amazon music for me today, and I couldn't breathe the entire time I listened to it. What's more is its actually good.

This track, pure motivation. I love uplifting stuff like this.

I love anything that annihilates genre boundaries like this. The more I cannot place it the better.

Deliverance ranks pretty low for me as far as Opeth's discography goes, but this song and the title track are both excellent.
