Finally about to try Terranigma... flying out and it's loaded on the Steam Deck. Thanks again @Control_Denied.

Both games are developed by Quintet.
I finally got around to playing this and I'm into it. However, I was insanely stuck in the first tower because I couldn't see the visual cues for where the doors were... and that broken window... my god I wondered around for over an hour until I noticed it. Maybe it's not so good for the little screen on the Steam Deck, lol... I think I would have seen it earlier if I were using a big CRT TV. Still, would recommend for a more combat-oriented Zeldaesque game.the_skotts wrote: Mar 15th, '26, 05:03 I looked up Terranigma and my first thought was that it looked a lot like one of my favorite SNES games, Illusion of Gaia. Turns out they were made by the same dev. So if you end up liking Terranigma you might try checking out Illusion of Gaia too.

@Grafo
Zero Tolerance looks crazy. I didn't even know the Genesis could do that. I never owned one, so I missed out on a few games. I might try emulating that one.

this sounds absurd. gonna seek this one out immediately...I see it only ever came out in Japan...will I need a translation patch?ravanal wrote: May 1st, '26, 06:32 Maybe you heard of this one already, maybe not...
but Battle Golfer Yui, a golf RPG for the Genesis, inspired by the late Sukeban era shows.
I won't spoil the story, because it's Batshit Insane for a game about golf. You think you're ready for the story...no bro you're not ready for it, even less for the ""Good Ending"".![]()

Well... I need this one. I have no idea why, but I generally love golf games despite not enjoying golf or even the idea of golf irl... but golf + batshit insanity... yes. I'll throw it on the steam deck.ravanal wrote: May 1st, '26, 06:32 Maybe you heard of this one already, maybe not...
