Yeah, MSN Messenger had a great compact UI. Modern app design seems to assume they'll be run full screen.

As per the review video of the UGREEN AI NAS iDX6011 Pro - yes, forums absolutely do need to make a comeback. The online world, indeed the world, was a better place before social media was a thing. Let's bring back forums, ICQ, MSN Messenger, etc.
